SANY RE released the world's largest onshore wind turbine—15  MW WTGs at CWP 2023. SANY RE won the bidding for a 200MW wind power project, which  selects 20 sets of 10 MW model, breaking a new record for the  largest commercialized onshore wind turbine in China.

On June 22nd, SANY Renewable Energy (stock code:688349) was officially listed and traded on STAR Market of Shanghai Stock Exchange with closing market value of 7.18 billion USD. 

SANY Renewable Energy launched its 7.X platform wind turbine on the market marks that China's onshore wind power industry has officially entered the "7.XMW era".

By building the first 5G fully-connected smart factory in the wind power industry, SANY was rated as a bench-marking enterprise of smart manufacturing.

The largest onshore 5MW Wind Turbine unit with the mounted transformer in China completed the prototype installation and grid-connection. SANY Renewable Energy created a miracle in the industry that a single production line "produces 800 Wind Turbines in 100 days".  

SANY started to implement the strategy of manufacturing WTGs with higher tower, larger rotor, longer blade, lighter weight, and more intelligent in control in 2019.

Considered the demand of plain areas and northern regions of China, SANY introduced the low wind speed 3.X MW platform wind turbine.

The first generation of low wind speed wind turbine generator SE115-2.0 is launched on the market. SANY adjusts the operation mode from whole industry chain to the WTG system integration and strategy development.

SANY started to focus on existing customers and WTG products, refined the strategy and market scale. By introducing innovative technologies, SANY reinforced the marketing team, and expanded the wind resources development. 

SANY changed the development strategy of wind turbine manufacturing and developed 2MW wind turbine. 

SANY entered in wind turbine manufacturing in 2008 and introduced the first wind turbine of 1.5 MW capacity with 70 m and 77 m rotor daiameter.
