On March 28th, 2023 (UTC+8), SANY Renewable Energy, China Huadian Overseas Investments and CNEEC (China National Electric Engineering Company) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the Jizzakh Project in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Huadian Overseas Investment participated online.
Li Zhigang, Deputy General Manager of CNEEC, Zhang Xinbo, Director of International Business Key Account Department of SANY Renewable Energy, Tian Li, General Manager of China Huadian Overseas Investments, and Mirzamakhmudov, Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan attended the conference.
According to the agreement, China Huadian Overseas Investments will participate in the project as an investor, CNEEC as the general contractor, and SANY Renewable Energy as the wind turbine supplier. The three parties proposed an integrated wind power solution for mountainous region and will jointly construct a wind energy program with a total capacity of 1000 MW.
According to Minister Mirzamakhmudov, the construction of renewable energy is essential for strengthening the diversity and stability of Uzbekistan’s energy system. The delivery of a consistent and ongoing energy supply will be a top priority for the Uzbekistan government. In the current Uzbekistan energy market, he noted that the "integrated wind power solution for mountainous region" jointly proposed by Huadian Overseas Investment, CNEEC, and SANY Renewable Energy is constructive. He hoped that the three companies could carry out substantive work as soon as possible to promote the successful implementation of the project. 
At the conference, Mr. Tian Li, Mr. Li Zhigang, and Mr. Zhang Xinbo demonstrated that the three companies will collaborate well to construct a high-quality wind power program for Uzbekistan by establishing a strong alliance to combine advantages and share resources. The three parties will actively respond to China’s “Belt and Road Initiative” and Uzbekistan's energy policy, strengthening partnership with Uzbekistan in the renewable energy area, and promoting the economic and social advancement of the nation.
Jumanazarov, the Deputy Energy Minister for Uzbekistan, Lu Youan, the Deputy General Manager of China Huadian Overseas Investments, and Liu Yu, the Executive Deputy General Management of International Business of SANY Renewable Energy, witnessed the signing and expressed their high praise and expectations. Meanwhile, experts from different departments of three companies also witnessed this remarkable moment.
