On November 28, SANY Renewable Energy's Fort-Shevchenko UNEX 43.6MW wind power project in Kazakhstan successfully achieved grid connection—marking a historic breakthrough for both SANY R.E. and the Central Asian wind power sector.
As the first "large-for-small" repowering wind project in Central Asia, the project is a monumental step forward, marking the first overseas deployment of SANY R.E.'s 8.0MW-class turbine. It also represents the global debut of an 8MW turbine model in Central Asia, setting a new single-unit capacity record for Kazakhstan.

The letter of appreciation received validates the operational excellence that drove this project's success. Despite complex coastal climate and narrow construction windows, our teams met every challenge head-on. Leveraging a scientifically precise management system for full-process control, we successfully ensured expected goals were not just met, but exceeded in schedule control, quality supervision, and safety assurance.
"SANY R.E.'s support not only ensured the smooth progression of the critical wind farm installation, but also set a benchmark for the renovation of aging substations," the letter stated.

Injecting new momentum to renewable-energy cooperation under the Belt and Road framework, the milestone has set a new standard for global cooperation. SANY R.E. looks forward to continuing this partnership and writing new chapters of success together across the region's clean-energy landscape.
